Then there was namely the further searching, that my great-great grandfather, who came first as a soldier in Munich, was born in Breitenlohe (at Burgnaslach), in 1812 (son of Johann Georg Farnlucher, community pastor in Warmersdorf, then Breitenlohe, a native of Ailsbach and his wife Anna Magdalena, born Finger, from Münchhof? His name was Johann Georg Fahrenlochner (at birth registration), later Farnlacher. This Johann Georg, however, had another brother of the same name (which back then seemed more times, mostly because of the names of the godparents). And at whose birth registration in the church records of Gleißenberg (now in the parish of Markt Taschendorf) by 1809 was later by another hand and with different ink, the name written Vornlochner (a copy of this registration copy enclosed).

                Note :
1. Letter from Richard Farnlacher to Hans Vornlocher
First, may I welcome you as an unknown. But perhaps the following post will result in a personal acquaintance or even a relationship.
Maybe you already in reading the sender noticed the similarity of my name with yours. And that's what is the reason for my letter to you.
Since early 1986, I know that my family comes from Franconian amely from Frimmersdorf (municipality Vestenbergsgreuth). There
is the family homestead, still inhabited by a branch of the family. This is spelled Farnlucher. As in the Genealogy turned out, this is the older document example, Farnlacher only a modification.
But Farnlucher is not the original name. Backtracking until the beginning of the 17th century it turned out that the origin of the name of the family was Fachenlueger. And that Fachenlueger was not a Franken name, but that in the year 1655 a Blasius Fachenlueger married in Lonnerstadt a farmer's daughter from Mailach, Anna Trapp. However, this Blasius came from the
Land Salzburg. He was born in 1619 in S t. Johann im Pongau the son of Paul and Anna Fachenlueger. There is in St.Johann the original mountain farm of the family that has the name -written Fachenlueg (formerly also written Vachenlueg).
Blasius and Anna took over the farm in Frimmersdorf and had 10 children. Already in these children, the transformation of the name started, Fahrenluger, Fahrnluger, Fahrenlucher led to Farnlucher and Farnlacher. _
And now I come to the point that causes me to write to you. Already on May 10, 1986 I was in Elsendorf. I found out from the landlady from Lauberberg that in Elsendorf Farnluchers still exist. I was looking for a family in Elsendorf, it turned out that this family’s name was Vornlocher and the woman with whom I spoke said that we were probably not related. For me that was the end of it, provisionally settled, albeit with doubts. But only until the end of the year 1987. Then there was namely upon further research that my great-grandfather, who "as first as a soldier came to Munich, (in Burgnaslach). He was born in Breitenlohe in 1812 (as the son of Johann Georg Farnlucher, in a shepherd community in Warmersdorf. Then in Breitenlohe, a native of Ailsbach and his wife Anna Magdalena, born Finger in Münchhof). His name was Johann Georg Fahrenlochner (by the
Birth registration), later Farnlacher. This Johann Georg had a brother of the same name (which often times back then occurred, mostly due to the names of the godparents). And at his birth registration in the parish register of Gleißenberg (today in the parish office of Markt Taschendorf) from 1809 later by another hand and with another ink written the name Vornlochner.
(A copy of this entry form is enclosed).
2.Letter Farnlacher sheet 2
So could it be a link. It’s possible the Vornlocher family comes from there. So I write to help copies of all Vornlochers and Vornlockers I could find in the telephonebook. (A son of Blasius, Friedrich, was, at his marriage in Gerhardshofen written Farnlocher; at child births - Farnlocker, Farrenlocker, Fahrenlock. Note that even with Vornlocker or Vornlocher a relation can be ensured.). These are the following addresses:
Michael Vornlocher, Elsendorf, 8602 Schlüsselfeld
Peter Vornlocher, Elsendorf, 8602 Schlüsselfeld
Georg Vornlocher, Elsendorf, 8602 Schlüsselfeld

My question to you: Are you interested in Family
Research? You might even know something about that? Can you possibly question by existing knowledge about your family or even clarify by records and documents? Or you are interested in my trying to find whether there is a connection? I write only now because I am still continuing in the meantime research in other directions, for example, I have clarified in Salzburg the origin of the meaning of the name It was a lot of work and connected with several trips to Salzburg and St. Johann im Pongau. But that would explain beyond the context of this letter and I want to arouse a bit of curiosity. All I can inform you is if a relationship should arise. It is a very interesting
Family history!
It even goes so far that 2 branches of Farnlacher live in America. The one in Ohio (diversion already in 1700 with grandchildren
by Blasius, emigration of Nikolaus Farnlucher of Frimmersdorf
village around 1846). With this family, we have close ties. Twice already a couple was here and we have shown them the historical
family seat places.Twice we were already over to family reunion of the Ohio Farnlachers tied with a big US trip. We also have visited the second
branch in San Francisco, California. This Farnlacher there comes from my branch of the family; the emigrant was a brother of my great-grandfather, a son of the Breitenloher Johan Georg. The is only an example of how interesting the matter can be.
My wife and I have in July again 2 weeks before the holidays
to spend in Franken. Perhaps a personal connection could
be included.
I wonder if I'll get to say hello and from where.
Hoping that this happens, I remain
Best regards
3. Copied from the Parish register of the Lutheran church of Gleissenberg
Commentery: Breitenloheis one of the few "Catholic" Villages in the area. There is a small Protestant population registered in the Lutheran church books of Gleißenberg since 1800. (records of Gleißenberg are currently in Markt Taschendorf)
A marriage of Johann is not registered in Gleißenberg 1800-1810. The herdsmen and shepherds have often moved in and out; Johann J. probably spent only a few years in Breitenlohe!
Funerals - No one so small died from 1800 until at least 1830, although two "Johann Georg" were born in rapid succession.
Christening matriculation: 2 children of the above:
1812 S.96. No.7. - Johann Georg Fahrenlochner, son of Johann Fahrenlochner, local shepherd in Breitenlohe House No.3 and his wife Anna Magdalena, born "Finger". The child was born on July 19, 1812 at 11 clock in the morning and was baptized by the Pastor of Kleinweisach, Rev. Buchrucker on 20 July; the godfather was Johann Georg Gebsattel, an assistant shepherd in Breitenlohe. The parents are Protestants.
(later note: moved away, baptismal certificate July 3, 1849)
On July 22, 1809 there is already a child born Johann Georg with almost the same words; both parents are designated as Protestants. Above the name "Fahrenlochner" but in a different ink "Vornlochner"is written. - The mother's maiden name was Finger!
Bob Vornlocker Note: Breitenlohe, Gleissenberg and Kleinwesach are a few miles apart.
